If you’re looking for Disneyland treats that indulge your sweet tooth, look no further! We compiled this “sweet” list of our top picks. We chose to omit the fan favorites like Dole Whip and Churros because we want to bring some of the lesser-known Disneyland treats to your attention. So keep reading for some Disneyland treat inspo! (Shared in no particular order.)

1. Churro Gears at Maurices Treats

These warm, doughnut-like Disneyland treats are warm, cinnamony and sugary! They’re made with a touch of crispiness on the outside, but are perfectly soft and fluffy on the inside. Maurice’s Treats is the Disneyland snack cart just to the left of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. It’s easy to find this must-try for the doughnut lover in your Disney vacation group!

2. Beignets from Mint Julep Bar

Another (powdered) doughnut-like Disneyland treat we love are the beignets you’ll find exclusively at the Mint Julep Bar in New Orlean’s Square. You can Mobile Order a 3 Pack or 6 Pack on the Disneyland App, which can come in handy! If your belly starts to rumble while you’re in line for Pirates of the Caribbean or Haunted Mansion, just choose a pick-up window according to how long the estimated wait time for the ride is. You won’t regret having these mouth-watering Disneyland treats waiting for you when you leave the ride!

Disneyland regularly offers seasonal flavors, like Strawberry Chocolate during Halloween and Peppermint Chocolate during the Holidays. Keep an eye out for those too!

3. Choco-Smash CANDY Bar from Pym Test Kitchen at Avenger’s Campus

This “Celestial-sized Candy Bar”, as it’s described on the Pym Test Kitchen menu, is made of Dark Chocolate, Peanuts, Caramel, Nougat and Chocolate Brownie. We cannot emphasize enough how large this Disneyland treat is! The gooey caramel and chewy brownie did not disappoint! We have to admit, though, for a party of 2 it was difficult to finish. This treat has enough to go around for a party of 3-4, (or enough to save for later).

4. Creme Brulee from Blue Bayou Restaurant or Cafe Orleans

If you love Creme Brulee, then you’ve gotta make your way to New Orleans Square where not 1, but 2 restaurants regularly offer Creme Brulee on their menu! This Disneyland dessert is somewhat exclusive because it can’t be bought from a cart or mobile ordered. Creme Brulee is ususally only available at sit down restaurants. For both, especially Blue Bayou, we recommend making reservations in advance. We have been lucky enough to join the waitlist for Cafe Orleans and get a table for 2 or 3 on occasion though!

As Disney Parks loves to do, these dining locations often offer seasonal and specialty Creme Brulee flavors! In the first 2 photos below, you’ll see the seasonal flavors for the 2021 Holiday season: Hot Cocoa Creme Brulee at Cafe Orleans and Cookie Butter Creme Brulee at Blue Bayou.

In the 3rd photo, you’ll see the Sparkling Cider/Wine Celebration Finale, a Disneyland dessert platter offered at Blue Bayou, which includes:

  • 2 glasses of sparkling cider (or champagne for $15.00 more)
  • 2 different Creme Brulee flavors
  • Chocolate-dipped Madeleines

When we experienced the Celebration Finale, Blue Bayou was offering a classic Creme Brulee along with a coffee-flavored Cafe Au Lait, which we loved. The flavors change often though, so be sure to look at the menu for the most up-to-date information!

5. Macarons

We sincerely hope you haven’t been sleeping on Disneyland’s macaron-making skills. If so, we’re thrilled to bring you up to speed! These Disneyland treats may catch your eye because they make cute photos “for the ‘gram”, but you’ll keep coming back for the creative and delicious flavors! You’ll sometimes find them in the confectionaries and candy shops, but keep an eye on the menus for quick service and mobile order dining locations too, (like Jolly Holiday and the Cozy Cone Motel in Car’s Land at Disney California Adventure).

A few of our favorites have been:

  • Cozy Cone Macaron filled with chocolate ganache, peanut butter and bits of pretzel. This Halloween 2021 seasonal flavor, shaped like an orange traffic cone, was sweet and salty perfection!
  • Hot Cocoa Marshmallow Macaron, a Disneyland treat almost too adorable to eat, was found at the appropriately named “Making Spirits Bright” cart during the 2021 Festival of Holidays.
  • Chocolate Mint Macaron, shaped like a Santa hat, was found at Jolly Holiday during the 2021 Holiday season.

6. Bread Pudding at Pacific Wharf Cafe in Disney California Adventure

This is another Disneyland treat where the flavor changes depending on the season, but you’ll always find some version of this staple on the Pacific Wharf Cafe menu. You’ll see in the photo below that we paired the 2021 Seasonal Apple Fritter Bread Pudding with a Seasonal Cold Brew Latte. The combo was what sweet dreams are made of!

7. Cold Brew Lattes

For most of us, staying caffeinated is essential to having a successful day at the parks. We know we’re not the only ones stoked to see more and more options for coffee at Disneyland! This is another Disneyland treat to keep an eye out for around the parks because options and availability tend to change with the seasons. There are a couple locations you can always count on though!

At Hungry Bear Restaurant, Seasonal Cold Brew Latte flavors are a staple! We occasionally see a specialty cold brew on the Red Rose Tavern menu too. Check out their menus on the Disneyland App to see what the current flavors are!

Also, Docking Bay 7 consistently offers a fan favorite called the “Cold Brew Black Caf”, a Cold Brew Coffee topped with Sweet Cream and Chocolate Puffs. Those “chocolate puffs”? They’re Cocoa Puff Cereal! This Disneyland treat is one of our go-to’s because it’s jam-packed with flavor and nostalgia.

8. Krispy Treats

Similar to the macarons, Disney’s clever designs of the Krispy Treats are what will catch your eye, but the flavors will keep you coming back! These tasty Disneyland treats can be found at every confectionary or candy shop on property: Marceline’s Confectionary at Downtown Disney, Candy Palace and Pooh Corner in Disneyland Park, and Trolley Treats and Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff in Disney California Adventure. The flavors and designs change frequently, but that’s what makes window shopping for them so much fun!

9. Monkey Bread from River Belle Terrace

A seasonal flavor of this Disneyland treat is always on the menu at River Belle Terrace, which is a sit down restaurant. Luckily, it’s easy to get a table day-of by joining the Walk-Up List on the Disneyland App, but if you want to make sure you get the opportunity to try this dessert you can make reservations in advance. We love it so much that we’ve gotten a table at River Belle and only ordered the Monkey Bread! Here’s a photo of the Pumpkin Spice Monkey Bread they served in Fall 2021:

10. Churro Toffee

We’re ending our list with this Disneyland treat because it’s one of the best pieces of candy we’ve ever eaten! Conveniently, it can be found at every confectionary or candy shop on property: Marceline’s Confectionary at Downtown Disney, Candy Palace and Pooh Corner in Disneyland Park, and Trolley Treats and Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff in Disney California Adventure. This thin piece of toffee is dipped in the thinnest layer of white chocolate, which is what all the cinnamon and sugar sticks to. We aren’t the type to reach for white chocolate, but it’s barely noticeable paired with the sweet ‘n’ salty toffee with the churro dust on top. This is one of our favorite Disneyland treats to bring home so we can enjoy a taste of Disney long after we’ve left.

Of course, we barely scratched the surface when it comes to Disneyland treats, but we hope you found a few things you plan to seek out on your next trip from treats at Maurices Treats, Mint Julep, River Belle Terrace, and more!
