SNICKERS Mickey Macaron
The show-stopping dessert of this year’s Disney California Adventure “DCA” Food and Wine Festival is, no doubt, the SNICKERS Mickey Macaron. It’s Mickey-shaped, chocolatey, and practically made to post on the socials. It can be found at the Nuts About Cheese festival kiosk. If you love a Snickers bar, then you’ll love this dessert. Not only does it have chunks of Snickers in it, the cookie and filling perfectly match the flavor of the candy bar.
We give this Disney treat a 7/10 simply because it’s very large and very sweet. It was difficult to finish, even though we split it. If you love an occasional Snickers bar though, we’d definitely point you toward this Food and Wine Festival specialty.
Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch
This dessert lives next door to the Snickers Macaron at the Uncork California kiosk. While it isn’t Mickey-shaped, it’s rich, chocolatey, and may be the most decadent dessert at this year’s DCA Food and Wine Festival. While the Snickers Macaron was dry like a candy bar, this dessert is made with a fluffy mousse and gooey ganache that really hit the spot!
We give this Disney treat a 9/10! The flavor was everything you’d want and more, but the presentation doesn’t grab people’s attention like the macaron does. For that reason, this dessert isn’t getting as much love as it should on the socials, but if you love chocolate you won’t regret treating yourself to this festival specialty!
